Leon & Ryneck Sharp

Lyon and Ryneck Sharp have been committed foster parents with TFI for 16 years, consistently grateful for the support of the Foster Care team. They have provided stability for higher-acuity teens and continue to support a young adult in college, helping with essentials like a car, insurance and ongoing guidance.

Their steadfast support has helped many young people overcome challenges and succeed. One young woman’s high school graduation was celebrated with the judge attending, gifting her $100, and even holding a court hearing at her mother’s gravesite, where the judge helped install a headstone—demonstrating the profound impact of positive, consistent support.

GNF Leadership Team

GNF Making a Difference...

The Grow Nurturing Families program had the privilege of providing a workshop at the Governor’s Conference in Wichita, Kansas, in October 2025. Director Anna Brown, along with Supervisors Regan Botkin and Kelcie Pusch, presented a 60-minute workshop on how to improve attachments and healthy communication through family play therapy. The presentation was a success, with over 40 attendees. Participants praised Anna, Regan and Kelcie’s workshop, calling it their favorite and highlighting its interactive and inspiring nature. VP Donna Rozell and Family Preservation Director Sarah Swain also attended, along with other TFI supervisors.

Kansas Case Management...

We aim to help children return home safely and quickly, because a loving family environment is essential for their well-being. When returning home isn’t an option, we focus on finding permanent, caring families through adoption or other lasting solutions. Our ultimate goal is to ensure every child has a safe, stable and loving place to grow.
