Family is more than shared DNA—it’s the people who offer love, stability and support through life’s ups and downs. National Family Day, which is celebrated each September, is a reminder to be intentional about the time we spend together and the relationships we nurture.
Thomas and Vanessa Farrell are empty nesters who have been fostering since 2018. Since that time, they have fostered 6 kids and adopted 1. Recently licensed with TFI, they say they are ready to provide a safe and loving home for more children as long as they need it. We are excited to be a part of their fostering journey!

Day at the K: Foster Parent Appreciation Tailgate Event
We are excited to be hosting another year of Day at the K on September 20! Registration is now closed, but this year will be the biggest event yet with a record number of attendees registered!
We look forward to seeing you as the Kansas City Royals take on the Toronto Blue Jays!
We will have food, activities, musical guests and so much fun for you and your families.
